Thoughtfully Formed Classes
Just like our in-person program, virtual exercise classes are designed to accommodate both the person living with dementia/MCI (brain change) and a care partner. To foster connection, athletes and care partners are assigned to a consistent class with others who share similarities whenever possible. Matching may be based on factors such as location, age, type or stage of dementia, or other relevant similarities. With assigned classes you will see familiar faces each week and connect with people who understand your journey. Exercise takes effort, but it’s more meaningful and enjoyable when you’re surrounded by a supportive community.
